The new brighter screen, the GPS and 3G connectivity are great to use on your iPhone, but whats not nice is that you run out of battery charge in the middle of the day. You need to connect the phone either on your car dock or your laptop. Charging it does make the cell phone immobile. So in order to maximize the battery life of your iPhone follow some of these steps:

1.Turn down the LCD. The new iPhone’s screen is brighter, but you shouldn’t be running this thing at full heat if you want to save battery power. Lower this to 10% brightness. This can be done under Settings -> Brightness.

2. Turn off the wi-fi network scanning system: If the scanning is on, it will keep on scanning for wi-fi networks at regular intervals thereby reducing the battery life. Scan it only when you would be using the wi-fi.

3. Turn off Vibrate in Games. Playing a game with vibrate happening frequently is an unnecessary battery suck. If you can turn it off, turn it off.

4. Limit use of A-GPS tracking: Try limiting the use of the GPS when its unplugged. Tracking causes a lot of charge intake.

5. Set the Autolock to 1-minute. The iPhone’s autolock is good at shutting off the screen if you forget to when placing it in a pocket, purse or just tossing it on a table after a call. The phone gets locked automatically and conserves power this way. This setting is under Settings -> General -> Autolock.

6. Charge it in every possible way. Plug it in your car lighter adapter or charge it while using your laptop. Remember every single minute counts!

Using the Print Screen Option on your Windows Vista

Sometimes it is necessary to to be able to copy exactly what you are seeing on your computer screen. In order to do this you would have to use the Print Screen Option. If your using vista, its very easy. Just follow three steps and there you go! You can show your friends what you have seen.

1. Locate the “print screen” button on your keyboard. If the print screen button. If your keyboard has “prt sc” on the lower half of the button, to activate the print screen function, all you may need to do is press the button for step one. If not, then press the “fn” button and the “prnt scr” button simultaneously.

2. Next open the Paint program and click on the paste button. You will have the page pasted as a JPG image.

3. In order to send it as an attachment, you might want to resize it so send it as an email. For that, press Ctrl+W andtype 80% for both horizontal and vertical alignment. Click on save to have it on your computer.
